How can something this easy be so helpful?
Amazon has a program called “Amazon Smile” where they credit part of the Seller transaction fees to the charity of your choice.
We hope that charity can be: Cincinnati Chapter Sons of the American Revolution
Instead of typing http://www.amazon.com, please type in http://www.smile.amazon.com
From there, add Cincinnati Chapter Sons of the American Revolution as your favorite charity.
Here is the link for Amazon assistance in setting up. Click on it:
https://smile.amazon.com/charity/smile/about?ref_=smi_se_dshb_aas_saas
Each time you buy something from Amazon using Amazon Smile, part of the fees Amazon charges Sellers will be credited to the Cincinnati Chapter of the SAR.
As Dire Straits once said “Money for Nothing”. Easy peasy!
The hardest part of this effort is the one time set up. See above link.
Followed by remembering to type http://www.smile.amazon.com (I type amazonsmile.com and it also works).
You may occasionally forget, its OK!
Would any of your member want to lay a wreath at the Wreaths Across America Ceremony on December 17th at noon at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown. Jack was able to come last year and it added an in depth element and a special touch to our ceremony. Thank you. Please let me know.
Shelia, I will reach out to Jack and George Stewart to see how/where our SAR participants are going to be. I will get back to you. Thanks for reaching out. Tim
