National Ladies Auxiliary – Sons of the American Revolution – for significant others of SAR members.
Question to Cincinnati SAR members – has your spouse ever asked why she cannot join the CCSAR or DAR? If so, there is an option ….
Maybe your spouse (my spouse is a perfect example) cannot join the Daughters of the American Revolution because she has not been able to prove direct documented lineal ancestral connection to a American Revolutionary War soldier or patriot providing service to the cause.
Need not despair …… there is a directly related group where spouses of SAR members can join the National Ladies Auxiliary – Sons of the American Revolution (NLASAR).
Very easy to join, very reasonable annual membership. Great to get the spouse engaged in SAR activities.
I just filled out the application for my wife. Simple, quick, a bargain!
We are blessed to have one of Cincinnati’s own – Laurie Brendenfoerder, represent Ohio & Cincinnati as the Secretary of this national organization. Laurie is the wife of Jack Brendenfoerder – Ohio Society SAR President 2022.
