On Tuesday September 12th at the Greater Cincinnati International Airport (CVG) many family, friends and patriotic individuals gathered to welcome home military veterans from all branches of service.
Members of the SAR, DAR, CAR are there to welcome home our military veterans who traveled to Washington DC
Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (CCSAR) members Bob Bowers and Jerry Knight were there to welcome these Veterans who visit Washington DC and tour the Veterans monuments.
This is a special event for the Veterans who participate and it touches the lives of their sponsors and those who are there to send them off and welcome them home.
For the future, the planned arrival of the plane returning from DC is about 9 PM, so please get there early to participate in photos and getting to talk with other SAR, DAR and CAR members who also are participating.
Veterans, thank you for your service, your and others sacrifices to further our freedoms.
