On Wednesday September 4th at our monthly SAR meeting we were proud to award medals for ongoing Grave Marking service to our chapter.
The Cincinnati Chapter is recognized around the country for its excellent grave marking efforts led by Mike Gunn. Mike is regularly sought out by other chapters for coaching and mentorship on proper grave marking protocols.

Mike Gunn, CCSAR Grave Marking Chairman presented awards to the following CCSAR members:
- Bob Bowers – Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster
- Scott Freeman – Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster
- Greg Ballman – 5 Oak Leaf Cluster’s, Silver Oak Leaf Cluster
- Jason Bourgeois – to be presented at 9/14 Constitution Day event
