The SAR is a Historical, Educational and Patriotic lineage society that seeks to maintain and extend:
- The institutions of American freedom
- An appreciation for true patriotism
- A respect for our national symbols
- The value of American citizenship, and
- The unifying force of E Pluribus Unum that created one nation and one people
We strive to perpetuate the heroic triumph of the Patriots whose courage established the independence of the United States of America through our programs and outreach to state and local communities.
The Cincinnati Chapter was organized in 1889 and is currently one of twenty-three active Chapters across the state of Ohio. The Ohio State Society and the Cincinnati Chapter welcome new members able to prove their lineage to the heroes of the American Revolution.
