Cancelled – Color Guard Training Session – 1/22/2023

With regrets, our next practice session scheduled for Sunday January 22nd has been cancelled.

Periodically, we hold training sessions to practice our marching skills and work out kinks in our technique.

This session will be rescheduled to a later date.

Our chapter participates in numerous events showcasing our Color Guard.  This is a very serious responsibility and practice makes perfect.

Our Commander Brad Jarard looks to keep us sharp by running us through the most likely march procedures and routines we may need in upcoming events.  Its an opportunity to get more familiar and comfortable and practice really helps us look crisp and professional.

If you are curious about becoming a Color Guard member, any of our upcoming practices sessions is a great opportunity to stop out, watch the Color Guard practice, make improvements, ask questions and simply connect with each other.

If you are interested in participating, our chapter has grant money available and sometimes extra equipment available to help prospective Color Guard Members acquire needed uniforms and accessories.  Sources of equipment and clothing can also be shared by the other Color Guard members.

It is a lot of fun, and is very rewarding, so make it a point to stop by our next practice to learn more.
