Today, the National SAR released three presentations about the events leading up to the July 4th 1776 Declaration of Independence.
These three presentations were distributed as a MS Powerpoint file. For convenience, I have converted these to .pdf files to maximize your ability to view and share these presentations.
The source National SAR email is below:

These are to the point, easy to read and give a quick introduction into the events leading up to each of these important milestone events.
If you are working on a supplemental application, the earliest date for Patriotic service recognition starts on April 19th, 1775 which happens to be the date of the Lexington / Concord “shot heard around the world” battle which started at approximately 1:00AM in the morning.
The first is: The Boston Tea Party – 1773
National SAR – 250th – Boston Tea Party
The second is: The First Continental Congress – 1774
National SAR – 250th – First Continental Congress
The third is: Battle of Lexington / Concord – 1775
National SAR – 250th – Lexington & Concord
Our thanks to the National SAR sharing these 250th Anniversary presentations.
Hope you enjoy!
