We Have Lost A Faithful Servant – Kerry Langdon – 11/3/2025

With regrets, we were informed that Kerry Langdon passed away on Monday evening 11/3/2025 at the age of 78.

Kerry was a long-time, very active, CCSAR member.

Please keep his wife Wanda, her sons, and extended family in your prayers as they endure this loss.

The Celebration of Life Service for Compatriot Kerry Langdon will be

15 Nov from 0900 – 1100.

This will be held at:  Branches Church  6541 Arborcrest Rd.  Loveland, OH  45140

Kerry and Wanda shared a love of history, patriotism, and family heritage. Together they participated in several lineage and patriotic organizations. Kerry was a proud member of the Gen. William H. Lytle Camp #10, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, where he served as Camp Commander, and Past Department Commander of the Ohio Department, and the Cincinnati Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution.

Thank you to the twelve Cincinnati Chapter members (including seven in the color guard) who participated in and/or attended the Celebration of Life for Compatriot Kerry Langdon on Nov. 15th.  Our presence was greatly appreciated.

Kerry had a larger-than-life personality and never met a stranger. Wanda often joked that she tried to keep him away from microphones—he simply loved to talk! He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, devotion to family, and dedication to his country and its veterans.

If you can help, they have set up a “Go Fund Me” page for Wanda Langdon.

If you are interested in supporting Wanda Langdon through some difficult times, the Go Fund Me page below, set up by her daughters, is a convenient way to do so.  The page explains her situation.  Any amount is appreciated.
