On July 6th, Stephen McClanahan and Scott Freeman spoke to the Warren County Historical Society (WCHS) History Camp.
There were 18 camp participants (Grades 4-8) and 2 adults present.
Both SAR speakers were in uniform/colonial attire.
Scott spoke on the “SAR, Patriot Ancestors, Militia Outfit, Weapons, and Accessories”.
Stephen spoke on Continental Army Uniform and Weapons and “Life as a Kid in 1776 During the American Revolution” (unless he has an official title).
Congratulations to Scott and Stephen for their presentations to these young adults to share American History.
The Cincinnati SAR has a very active Youth Education program which is highly recognized through the US SAR Chapters.
