Update: Work to Revitalize Ft. Laurens Tomb of Unknown Soldiers Gets Started

Ft. Laurens is the only Revolutionary War fort in Ohio.

As part of the site, there is a tomb and monument for unknown soldiers who were killed in battle at the site.

Over the years, the tomb site has become overgrown with shrubbery and needed a refresh.  We are proud to say that the project to update the site has been approved.

Tom Hankins who is the Ohio SAR 250th Celebration Commissioner & Co-Chair Ft. Laurens Tomb Project shared an update on the tomb renovation project.
