The second honor flight of the year from CVG airport occurred on May 21st.

This one was special for the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (CCSAR), as Compatriot Doug Carver was a participant on the flight. Compatriot Carver is a 15-year veteran of the US armed forces serving 5 years each in the Army, Marine Corps, and Navy.

Five Cincinnati Chapter members participated in the SAR Color Guard, consisting of members of the Simon Kenton (KY) and Cincinnati Chapters, in welcoming the veterans home.

They were Scott Freeman, Michael Blum, Gerald Knight, Robert Bowers, and George Stewart. Compatriot Philip Carver was also present to welcome the flight.
