On an absolutely fantastic summer evening, members of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution attended the Cincinnati Reds game.
The Red Legs were victorious in a win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks were most likely pleased to be enjoying temps below 100!
With a great view of the field on the first base side we had great seats.
This was a fun outing, enjoying America’s favorite past time, with some Patriotic members of the Cincinnati SAR.
It was a Friday night, so the Reds wore their new uniform.
Thanks to our President George Stewart for securing the block of tickets so we could be together.
The crowd was entertained by a see-saw game with lots of offense. We had lots of action to watch!
My only disappointment was that the 11 strikeout milestone (9 were recorded) for a free pizza for all the fans in attendance was not reached. The crowd was aware of this milestone and cheered the Reds pitchers on. Maybe next time!
There was a Friday night fireworks display after the game was completed.
Go Reds! Go SAR!!
