History buffs, want to learn more about the activities of our founding fathers prior to all out war?

If you are an Amazon Prime member, and can access their video content via your computer or TV, there is an amazing three part mini-series called “Sons of Liberty”.

Note that there is additional Rev War content which I will explore and share out in future.

This series consists of three separate segments which are about 1.5 hours each. These are very well done and offer insights into the early 10-15 years of colonist build up of hostilities and resentment.

The Battles of Lexington and Concord are highlighted, and vividly presented. The show also includes the Battle of Bunker Hill.

This series offers a view of key framers of our new country, including Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, Sam and John Adams, George Washington and Paul Revere.

Dr Joseph Warren who is the namesake of Warren County Ohio was a key figure in this movie and unfortunately was killed during the Battle of Bunker Hill.

Our Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will be honoring Dr. Warren in Lebanon Ohio on Tuesday June 17th. We will be there to celebrate this event.
