The SAR has an active Youth Education program where the history of the American Revolution and the Colonial period is shared with our nations youth in their classroom.

The Cincinnati Chapter of the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) is very successful at promoting American History in our area schools. Cincinnati Chapter Youth Education leaders Bob Bowers and Ed Bonniwell are a key part of our local efforts.
The SAR team who present to our youth, do so in attire worn during that time period. They also have artifacts they bring with them that serve as discussion points during the presentations.
The SAR Patriot Chest Program is an interactive presentation, intended to compliment Elementary and Middle School lesson plans on the Revolutionary War and Colonial Period of American History.
The program’s purpose is to bring that history alive, while providing students with a sense of the times and appreciation of the Patriot men and women who founded our nation.
Presentations use many reproduction artifacts for students to handle that make the period real creating a more vivid memory of this period in time.
Hope you find this inspiring and proof that we at the SAR continue to communicate the principals of our Founding Fathers and make those memories part of the education of our nations youth.
