Promotional Posters to Commemorate the Nations 250th Birthday

We are entering into the 250th anniversary period of the American Revolution.

April 19th 1775, 250 years ago was the legendary battles of Lexington and Concord.

As the conflict started in 1775 and the war ended in 1783, there are a battery of events which are all part of the 250th anniversary remembrance.

Doug Bates, a Cincinnati Chapter SAR member took the time to create four promotional posters (includes the link to the PDF file) to highlight the following events:

  1.  Battles of Lexington and Concord – Lexington & Concord – April 19 1775
  2.  Battle of Bunker Hill – Battle of Bunker Hill
  3.  General Montgomery – Patriot whom the City of Montgomery Ohio is named after – General Richard Montgomery
  4.  Calendar of Key Events of the Revolutionary War
    1. Part 1 – 1775 – 1777 – American Revolution 250 Calendar 2025-2027
    2. Part 2 – 1778-1780 – American Revolution 250 Calendar 2028-2030
    3. Part 3 – 1781-1783 – American Revolution 250 Calendar 2031-2033

These posters are outstanding works and will be displayed at CCSAR presentations and whenever appropriate.

Thanks to Doug for his fine work and taking the time to memorialize these in word and pictures which adds interest and a stronger connection to these special events and Patriots.

Please take some time to check these out!

Looking forward to seeing you at future events!
