Recently at a SAR State of Ohio meeting, awards were given to two of Cincinnati SAR’s finest.

Former Ohio SAR President Jack Bredenfoerder received the Gold Roger Sherman Medal from National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (NSSAR).

In addition, Jack joined Mike Blum (Cincinnati Chapter Treasurer and Ohio Chapter Treasurer) in receiving the Von Steuben Medal from Ohio Society SAR President Don Miller.

These awards are not issued very often and denote dedicated and faithful service to our organizations over a long period of time.

Those active in the Cincinnati Chapter are very familiar with the ongoing contributions by these two outstanding gentleman.
