The service started and the CCSAR Color Guard marched into the church in two abreast, split at the alter and presented arms, followed by the traditional mourning salute.

A single red rose was placed on the Alter in remembrance of Robert.

Michael Gunn addressed the family and those gathered with a prayer and kind words recognizing Robert (Bob) as a faithful member of the CCSAR.

Upon completion of remarks, the Color Guard proceeded down the aisle and exited the ongoing ceremony.

Being able to participate in a fellow CCSAR member’s funeral celebration was an honor.

We appreciate and are grateful that Robert’s family welcomed us to participate.

As a long time member of CCSAR, we will miss Robert and glad we could show our respect.

Robert, you are in all of our hearts, mind and soul forever!
