The first TriState Honor Flight of the year from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) occurred on Tuesday April 8th.

SAR & DAR representatives at attention to receive returning Veterans
To honor these Veterans and show support, hundreds of visitors gathered to greet the veterans in the terminal as they returned from their trip to Washington DC.

The SAR and DAR were well represented, including a joint Color Guard consisting of Cincinnati Chapter members, Simon Kenton (KY Society) members, and some DAR members.

SAR and DAR compatriots are ready to welcome returning Vets
The Color Guard was commanded by Don Drewry, Color Guard Commander of the Simon Kenton Chapter.
Representing the Cincinnati Chapter were President Scott Freeman, First Vice President Michael Blum, Gerald Knight, and joint member, Highlanders Chapter President Gary Duffield.
