Cincinnati  and Northern KY SAR Welcome Back an Honor Flight at CVG

On October 25, 2022 George Stewart, Gerry Knight, Mike Blum, Michael Gunn, Bob Bowers of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution and three members of the Simon Kenton, KY Chapter welcomed back the Honor Flight attendees and their assistants from the day in Washington, D.C.

They flew out in the early morning, then toured many of the Armed Services Monuments and Memorials. The experience was a difficult but rewarding renewal to the service performed to the USA as veterans.

We were joined by about 200 family members and well-wishers as the Emerald Pipe Band and AOH color guard led in the Veterans after their deplaning into a storm of appreciation to the military service given by these special people.
