We have an upcoming joint DAR/SAR event coming up on Saturday June 8th, 2024.

This event is commemorating Flag Day!

This is an annual event whereby a number of DAR chapters participate.  This year the event is hosted by the Butler County Nathaniel Sackett Chapter of the DAR.  They have chosen to invite the Cincinnati SAR as guests to their event.  We are grateful.

Doors Open – 11:30 a.m.
Luncheon – 12 noon

Luncheon Menu:

• Lunch will be catered by Hammann’s in Fairfield
• Sandwiches will be served with the following options:
  • ham and cheese,
  • roast beef and cheese, and
  • chicken salad
• Each sandwich is on a Servati’s Mini Bun
• We will also have fresh fruit and a veggie tray
• Dessert will be cupcakes
• Drinks include Water, Lemonade and Unsweetened Tea

Congrats to George Stewart for coordinating the SAR participation in this event.  George is our Cincinnati Chapter DAR/SAR liaison, charged with developing ongoing joint SAR/DAR cooperation with all things American Revolution.

Note:  Color Guard members in uniform eat free, all others pay $25.00 per head.

Color Guard Registration form – the following registration form is for Color Guard and SAR President: (the DAR is absorbing the cost of the Color Guard members meal)

Non-Color Guard Registration form – the second distinct registration for is for all others (including Color Guard spouses & guests: (yes SAR members and guests must pay if not in Color Guard)

Deadline for Reservations – May 22nd 2024

Mail the reservations and check payment to the name / address on the reservation form.

We need an RSVP from all participants so a head count can be obtained for the caterer, as well as making of name tags. RSVP is due no later than May 22, 2024. The form lists who and where to send.   If you have any questions, please reach out to the DAR representative listed on the registration form (This is a DAR hosted Event).
