On Saturday September 14th, the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution are hosting a luncheon at the Cincinnati Women’s Club in Cincinnati.
The luncheon will recognize three separate events:
- Observance of Constitution Day (September 17, 2024)
- Commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the First Continental Congress (Sept. 5th to Oct. 26th 1774)
- Honoring our Veterans (every day!)
This year our featured speaker is WWII Veteran Frank Wetenkamp.
Frank agreed to come back to follow up on his adventures during WWII while active in the Philippines. As the last surviving member of a group of soldiers charged with a special mission, Frank is now unburdened and will share his experiences in the tail end of WWII in the Pacific.
Frank’s 2023 Constitution Day presentation was terrific and very well received. You will not be disappointed by Frank’s unique and heart felt story telling gift.
Please sign up for this event and come here Frank’s story. We will be graced by his presence. Wonderful man, terrific American and willing to share history with our group. It does not get any better than that.
