The Cincinnati SAR attended a naturalization ceremony held at St. James Elementary School, 3565 Hubble Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio at 11:00 AM on February 22, 2019. The three members of the Cincinnati SAR Nolan Carson Memorial Color Guard who welcomed seventy new citizens were: Compatriots Jerry Knight, Michael Gunn and Jack Bredenfoerder. This session of the Southern Ohio District Court was officiated by Magistrate Judge Karen L. Litkovitz. Also present were members of Cincinnati DAR, The league of Women Voters, The American Red Cross, a representative from the office of Senator Rob Portman and many family and well wishers supporting the new citizens. The Girl Scout Troop from the St. James School posted and retired the Colors. Welcome!
