The Cincinnati Chapter is blessed with hosting the next Central SAR District Conference.

The Central District consists of the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia.

This meeting is an opportunity for SAR leaders and members to get together and discuss initiatives and issues facing these area state SAR chapters.  Also a way for old and new friends to connect.

Word on the street is that the current President General of the National SAR will be participating making this a Local, State and National event.

This event starts Friday evening October 20th for a “meet and greet” for those coming into town and / or wanting to reconnect with old friends.

Grave Marking – Color Guard members – separately, there will be a Grave Marking in Goshen which Color Guard members are encouraged to participate.

There is a full day of activities on Saturday October 21st 2023 in Milford Ohio.  See below for more details.

Schedule of Events:

Friday PM – there is a Friday PM meet and greet from 5-7PM in the Homewoods Suites – Milford lobby.  Great place to unwind from the end of a day and chat with other members.  Dinner is on your own.

There is a block of hotel rooms reserved at the Homewoods Suites with a special rate.  Reservations must be received on or before Friday 9/29.  See the attached flyer for the direct link to the hotel for reservations, or call the hotel direct for reservations.

  • 9:00 AM – Opening Ceremony
  • 9:15-11:30 – Central District Meeting
  • 9:15-11:30 – Ladies Program – visit and tour of the Promont House in Milford
• 12:00 PM – Buffet Lunch – $29.00 – Terrace Park Country Club
• 2:00 PM – Grave Marking – Myer’s Cemetery – Goshen OH (Color Guard 1:15 muster)
• 5:00 PM – District Banquet Dinner – $65.00 Millcroft Gallery – Milford OH
