CCSAR Miller Flag Collection – 70 plus Flags on Display at Harmon Museum in Lebanon, OH through Labor Day

The Captain Howard Miller Flag Collection will be on display at the Warren County Historical Society’s Harmon Museum in Lebanon Ohio.

This collection is retained by the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution and displayed whenever possible, either in part or in whole.  There are over 70 flags in this collection.

This display will be in place from July 1st through Labor Day.

First, on June 30th, Rich Minshall of the Camp Charlotte Chapter brought half of the Miller Flag Collection (the Revolutionary War era flags), which have been on display at the Ohio Statehouse since the first of the year, to the Warren County Historical Society’s Harmon Museum in Lebanon, OH.

Second, Scott Freeman and Vince McGeehan of the Cincinnati Chapter brought the other half of the collection from local storage to the museum.  George Stewart of the Cincinnati Chapter met the others there and helped set up the display.

Scott and Kathy Freeman and Vince McGeehan returned and  installed fabric covers on the front of the remaining stands that were not at the Ohio Statehouse on July 1st.

The entire 70-flag collection of historic American flags was open to the public on July 1st in the special exhibit area and will be on display at the Harmon Museum through Labor Day.

There will be a special event for the exhibit and presentation of the flag collection yet to be scheduled.

This is a most impressive collection of American Revolution period flags and also includes other flags of historical importance.

We encourage you to visit the Harmon Museum in Lebanon Ohio to see this collection while fully on display.

Please venture up to Lebanon to see these treasures displayed in their full glory!
