Drummers to keep the Color Guard in step

The Color Guard was most impressive with over thirty members in period attire performing a musket salute.  The smoke produced from those volleys must have resulted in the strong smell of black power and haze.

Ushering in of the flags to post colors for the ceremony

Participation by American Revolution organizations was impressive.  There were fifty-one SAR chapters active in this event.  In addition, there were fifteen Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) chapters and four Children of the American Revolution (CAR) participating.

There were fourteen SAR societies represented in the ceremony.
