We are having a grave marking dedication on Saturday morning.
We will dedicate the graves of five additional Revolutionary War patriots.
The Nolan Carson Color Guard will be participating in posting colors, a musket salute, mourn arms and retire colors. Color Guard members are asked to muster earlier at 9:30 AM.
This dedication is part of an ongoing effort to dedicate the graves of over 50 revolutionary war patriots who are buried in Hamilton County. Many were buried in Washington Park before being moved and interred elsewhere in Hamilton County.
These dedications for all these Revolutionary War known Patriots will be completed by July 4th, 2026 commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Parking is available in the Washington Park garage. The event will be held directly across the street from the Memorial Hall (just south of Music Hall).
Look forward to you coming down to spend time with us recognizing these true American heroes.
