Back on April 24th, 2022, Cincinnati Chapter Member Scott Freeman participated in an Eagle Scout Presentation for two new minted Eagle Scouts.
These two new Eagle Scouts were from Ironton, OH, which is Scott’s home town.
There were 95 in attendance at the event. The program is attached:
Compatriot Freeman gave a short talk about the SAR organization and and presented the Certificate of Recognition from the Chapter, a letter of congratulations from our Chapter and a commemorative SAR 250th Anniversary pin to the honoree.
In addition, Mr. Freeman gave 250th pins to the two Eagle Scouts from the troop. Mr. Freeman had provided Certificates of Recognition to these two fine young men in an earlier ceremony.
One of the Eagle Scout’s community service project was the installation of seven flag poles to honor veterans in the Woodland Cemetery in Ironton. The US flag along with the six flags representing the branches of military service could be proudly flown after they were completed.
