Posters and Brochures – Let The Judging Begin! – SAR Youth Awards

A big part of our Youth Education program for the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution is the Youth Poster and Brochure Contest.

Students around the Cincinnati area prepare and submit their posters or brochures for evaluation.

Members of the Youth Education team for CCSAR review, evaluate each of the entries and identify the best of the best.

This year, there were 207 posters and 98 brochures submitted for review.

Update – As of this update 3/26/2025, the winners in the two categories have been selected and will be announced in the near future.

CCSAR Youth Education team member Jack Bredenfoerder begins the evaluation process of over 200 posters and 98 brochures

The Cincinnati Chapter’s Poster and Brochure entries historically have received State of Ohio as well as National SAR recognition.

We appreciate the efforts of our Youth Education team for getting the word out to the local schools, working with the school administrators to help them guide the students and certainly are honored by the effort of the students who participate.

This past Friday, Jack Bredenfoerder completed his evaluation of the entries seeking the best of the best to recognize.

Jack has faithfully judged the Poster and Brochure contest since 2017, that is nine years of dedicated service to our area youth.

We will hear more about the winners of each category in the near future.  Winners of our local Cincinnati chapter contest will then be submitted for the State of Ohio competition and then on to the National SAR level.

Thanks again to all the students who participated, their parents who supported these fine young minds, the administrators for agreeing to let their students participate.  Special thanks to the members of the the CCSAR Youth Education team who tirelessly and consistently support our local youth education programs.

We are anxious to see the winners of these contests!
