On Sunday December 7th, 2025 we recognized the 84th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day.
This event was a wake up call and woke up a sleeping giant!

Here in Cincinnati, on Sunday December 7th, 2025, the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution participated in an event in Western Cincinnati honoring and recognizing this fateful day in our history.

Cincinnati SAR Color Guard on the march
Along River Road at the Anderson Ferry, many civic groups including Cincinnati SAR gathered for a short water event.

These groups boarded an Anderson Ferry for a brief journey onto the Ohio River.

While on the water, the participants released biodegradable commemorative wreaths onto the Ohio River. These wreaths were to honor those lost at the Pearl Harbor event so many years ago.

As a special tribute to those who were lost, there was a release of white doves in special remembrance of the souls taken from us on that fateful day.
