There a US Citizen Naturalization Ceremonies held throughout the year to welcome new US Citizens to our great country!

Part of the Sons of the American Revolution organization mission is to support and welcome our countries naturalization process.
Cincinnati SAR Compatriots Stephen McClanahan and Jerry Knight welcome new US Citizen
As such, at each local Naturalization Ceremony, representatives (Compatriots) of the Sons of the American Revolution participate as much as they can in these ceremonies.
Outfitted in period correct Military / Militia uniforms of the Revolutionary War period (1775 – 1783) the are a visual representative of the founding of our great country.
Our mission is to preserve and promote the history of our great country. Hopefully we can infuse this foundation in our history with these new citizens. Freedom came a great cost which is earned every day.
Cincinnati SAR Compatriots Gerry Knight and Stephen McClanahan welcomed 55 new citizens from 24 countries at a naturalization ceremony held on Wednesday, December 17th.
The event was held at the Potter Stewart Courthouse in downtown Cincinnati.
The Honorable Judge Stephanie Bowman officiated the ceremony.
We are happy that these new US Citizens can share in the freedoms which our forefathers fought, sacrificed and died for. Those efforts to preserve freedom continue today and forever.
