As we approach the July 4th holiday which honors and recognizes the founding of a new country, led by individuals who took chances and bet everything on a new and better life, we are reminded how special a country we have.

Recognizing this greatness, there are individuals and families who seek a better life and we are confident they will find in the United States of America.

On Wednesday June 26th, sixty new citizens were sworn in as new US citizens.  These individuals represent thirty-three countries.

This naturalization ceremony was held downtown in Cincinnati at the Potter Stewart Federal Courthouse.

Sons of the American Revolution was represented by Cincinnati Chapter SAR members Compatriots Jerry Knight and Jack Bredenfoerder who welcomed these new citizens.  Our hope and goal is that the raise the awareness that these patriots of the 1770’s sacrificed much for us to all benefit in a free country.
