Defiance Ohio will be the host of a multi-day event honoring Major General Anthony Wayne.

The events will take place on both Friday afternoon August 23rd and Saturday morning August 24th, 2024.
Friday afternoon – 1:00PM – 9:00PM will be a speaker symposium and a dinner followed by a keynote speaker.
Saturday morning starting at 8:00AM will be the dedication of a Anthony Wayne Veterans Memorial in Defiance Ohio. This will include the posting of colors by the combined SAR Color Guard members.
Hosting this event will be the Northwest Territory Chapter of the Ohio Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Friday – August 23rd – Speakers Symposium
- Sessions start at 1:00PM and end at 5:00 with break for dinner
- Evening sessions resume at 7:15 with Keynote Speaker, Q&A and adjourn at 9:00PM
- From 12:00 Noon to 5:00PM there is a meet and greet with Dr. Mary Stockwell – later keynote speaker
Saturday – August 24th – Memorial Dedication
- 8:00 AM – start of the days events
- 9:10 AM – procession of Colors (flags) by the SAR Color Guard
- 11:30 AM – Reception at the VFW Post 3360 – corner of First Street and North Clinton Street
