As part of the Sons of the American Revolution outreach to welcome new US citizens, the Cincinnati Chapter faithfully attends and welcomes these citizens at a naturalization ceremony.
These SAR members typically attend in 18th century (1770’s era) uniforms commonly wore by their patriot ancestors who served in the military during the Revolutionary War.
Their attire usually attracts a fair amount of attention and hopefully adds to the memories of these new citizens.
