Naturalization Ceremony – Friday June 14th – William Howard Taft Historical site

On June 14th, Jerry Knight of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution participated in a Naturalization Ceremony.

The event was held outside the William Howard Taft National Historical site on Auburn Avenue in Cincinnati.

Jerry was dressed in 1770’s military attire similar to the uniform worn by his patriot ancestor.  The SAR regularly attends these Naturalization ceremonies to honor the patriots who sacrificed to create this great country.

The event completed the journey to US citizenship for thirty new citizens.  Their path to the US brought them from nineteen countries.

The Honorable Beth A. Buchanan presided over the ceremony.

Welcome to your new home!

Congrats!!
