During the most recent Ohio Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, State President Steve Kaplan communication the new NSSAR Mission Statement.

“The Sons of the American Revolution honors our Revolutionary War patriot ancestors by promoting patriotism, serving our communities and educating and inspiring future generations about the founding principles of our Country.”

This new mission statement emphasizes that SAR is really a “service” society, “promoting patriotism, serving our communities and education and inspiring future generations about the founding principles of our Country.”

Our founding fathers would nod in agreement!
