The other day, I was in the Doctors office getting a shot.
I said to the practitioner giving the shot, “we have to stop meeting this way, you are becoming a pain in my arse”. She laughed and said, “I hear that one alot!”
Where did that word come from?
Do you wonder when and how words are formed and wouldn’t be fascinating to learn the origins of their use and purpose (maybe not).
Recently there was an article in http://www.historyfacts.com which addressed my curiosity.
