Just watched a three part video series on George Washington.

These are broken into three parts and are well done.

Starting with George at a young age, the series covers his life from a boy to a military figure during the French and Indian War with the British Army as a Colonial representative.  The conclusion is with George as President.

This explains how George got his original experience and  how the British snubbed him for a role in the British Military.  This snub appears to have motivated him to stay on the side of Colonial independence.  Lucky for US!

The program is narrated by some experienced and creditable historians and is well done.

For anyone seeking to learn more about the events leading up to and through the American Revolution, this series is a great show to watch.

The three programs are approximately 1 1/2 hours each, so 4 1/2 hours in total.
