The Cincinnati Chapter has been very fortunate over the years to have many entertaining and informative speakers. The process of finding a speaker to attend luncheons can be a challenge. At a chapter luncheon in 2007, Chapter President Tom Geimeier introduced Mr. Tom Griffin, one of the last Doolittle’s Raiders, to tell his story. Mr. Griffin was also imprisoned in a Nazi prisoner of war camp where the “Great Escape” took place. He was a much sought after speaker and he lived in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Griffin passed away on February 26, 2013 at a veterans home in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
