This is a busy week for Cincinnati SAR!
The following is a list of activities occurring this week.

Here we go:
Tuesday – 10/17 – Honor Flight at Cincinnati CVG International Airport – 9:00PM – join other SAR, DAR, CAR and community groups, friends and family welcome home Veterans who will have visited Washington DC and viewed their respective Veterans Memorials. Expected return time for these Veterans will be 9:00PM. Recommend being there around 8:30 to collect with other Rev War groups and take group photo.
Friday – 10/20 – Naturalization Ceremony – Summit Country Day School – 10:00 AM – 2161 Grandin Rd., Cincinnati – Join Cincinnati SAR member Jerry Knight in welcoming new US Citizens during their swearing in ceremony.
Friday – 10/20 – SAR Central District Meeting – meet and greet – 5:00-7:00 PM – Hotel Lobby – Homewood Suites – Milford at 600 Chamber Drive, Milford. This is an informal event where SAR members who are coming from out of town or simply to connect with area SAR members on Friday evening. The flyer for the event is below:

Saturday – 10/21 – SAR Central District Meeting – Opening Ceremony and Meeting – 9:00 – 11:30 AM – Terrace Park Country Club – 5341 S. Milford Rd, Milford. This is a formal event where leaders and members of the SAR Central District converge to discuss issues of importance to the OH, KY, WV and IN SAR chapters.
Saturday – 10/21 – Cincinnati Chapter DAR – 11:30 AM – Cincinnati Women’s Club 330 Lafayette Ave, Cincinnati. SAR members are encouraged to attend the DAR 130th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon. Contact George Stewart for more information.

Saturday – 10/21 – SAR Central District Meeting – Luncheon Buffet – 12:00 Noon – this will be at the Terrace Club Country Club – in Milford. This is a pay event, contact Mike Blum – Cincinnati SAR Treasurer to arrange for payment. The flyer for the event is:

Saturday – 10/21 – SAR Grave Marking – Myers Cemetery in Goshen – 2:00PM – this grave marking will be held at Myers Cemetery in Goshen OH. This will be a National Color Guard event as we will be graced with the National SAR President General John L. Dodd.
This is also a 250th Anniversary Event. We are encouraging all Color Guard Members to attend. There will be six Revolutionary War Patriots honored, followed by wreath presentations, and a musket salute performed by the Color Guard.

Saturday – 10/21 – Central SAR District Banquet Dinner – 5:00PM – Millcroft Gallery 203 Mill Street D, Milford, OH – Join the Central SAR District participants in a meal. This is a pay event, so make arrangements with Mike Blum – Cincinnati SAR Treasurer for payment. The flyer attached has additional details:
