As we dig deeper into the creation and adoption of our Constitution, there were great founding fathers who had many opposing viewpoints.
At the conclusion of their work, they had a product which admittedly was not perfect, did not agree with all the issues and concerns of the participants.
It was a compromise to say the least. Regardless, their foresight is remarkable.
There is an article which was published by the Smithsonian Magazine, which identifies twelve failed constitutional amendments which if they had passed, could have reshaped American history.
