The American Revolution sparked incredible feats of courage, bravery, sacrifice and sheer will power.

The Smithsonian Magazine recently published an article about Daniel Morgan and how he and his soldiers “The Riflemen” performed an almost impossible feat traveling almost 500 miles from Virginia to Massachusetts to engage the British.

Remember that this is not in the times of highways, nor convenient rest stops along the way. This trip was called the Beeline March.

This sacrifice is almost beyond belief, however they did so to save the new formed country they believed in.
