As many of you know, we are approaching the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
Many assume the conflict started with the signing of the declaration of independence in 1776. The reality is that the SAR recognizes the Revolutionary War conflict time period from 4/19/1775 thru 11/25/1783.
What does that mean? We will start to recognize the 250th Anniversary in 2025.
The National SAR organization, the respective State Chapters and local Chapters are gearing up for this celebration.
This is a once in a lifetime event so you will be hearing more and more about it.
