For the past couple of years, the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (CCSAR) have participated in a living history exhibit in Anderson Township.

This event has been held at the Miller-Leuser Log Home in Anderson.
We have provided a military focused program complete with our Nolan Carson Color Guard members dressed in Revolutionary War military uniforms. The focus of our presentations has been “what was it like to be a soldier in the Revolutionary War?”.
This event has been well attended with visitors asking many questions and the SAR members available and eager to help the audience understand what it was like to be a soldier in the Rev. War.
Recently, Brad Jarard, a key member of our Color Guard team who is on point for the Miller-Leuser event was contacted by the Anderson TWSP Historical Societies Doug Dierking to be part of a historical video, detailing the life of Incabod Miller, of the Miller-Leuser Log House in Anderson.
Incabod Miller was a civilian and Mr. Dierking was interested in a presentation of “what it was like to be a civilian during the Revolutionary War?”
One of our CCSARI members Jeff Hartman has a good period correct civilian clothing impression. The CCSAR team met with Mr. Dierking in August and over the course of a couple hours filmed Jeff in various settings detailing the life of Incabod.
The resulting movie will now be shown to visitors of the log house as part of the tour. Thanks to Jeff Hartman and Brad Jarard for earning acting and historical reference credits. The SAR is also shown as contributing to this event.

We are grateful to Mr. Dierking for pursuing this civilian viewpoint of life during the Revolutionary War.
