Background:

On April 30, 1889, descendants of those Patriots who fought in the American Revolution came together to form an organization which honored the memory of all people who worked to help secure the freedom and independence of our nation. While the Sons of the American Revolution are known by many people, the story behind its creation and the purpose it serves it not always well defined in the public’s eye. This film helps to shed light about the organization and hopefully inspires viewers to learn more about their past and discover if they have any Patriots in their family.
