Funeral Service – MIA – Cpl. Edward C. Martin – September 27th, 2025

On September 27, 2025 members of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution participated in a solemn event when Cpl. Edward C. Martin was brought home and buried in West Chester Cemetery.

This was a long and lonely journey for Cpl. Martin however he was gratefully received to his home.

SAR members Bob Bowers, Michael Gunn and Gary Duffield participated in period uniform.  Additional SAR members included Kenny Burck, Bob Sturm, and David Burleigh.

U.S. Army Cpl. Edwin C. Martin, 18, of Foster, Ohio, was killed during the Korean War, was identified and forensically accounted for on April 29, 2025.

The burial was in the West Chester Cemetery, 6425 West Chester Road, on September 27th, from 10 – 11 AM.
