Recently, my wife and I visited a number of family graves in the Freeport, IL area.

We located in excess of thirty ancestral relatives grave markers.

There were a few puzzle pieces we needed to sort out and were fortunate enough to have a county records office where we could inspect probate (will and final instructions) records.

The local representatives were really helpful and helped to resolve our missing puzzle pieces.

For the Freeport IL area, they have many of the old newspapers online so we were able to learn more about these relatives and their activities / contributions.

It was a great experience!

My wife was able to capture much of the new knowledge & photographs captured and included these facts within Ancestry.com and findagrave.com.

Really rewarding couple of days!
