Speaker series – The Naturalization Process – what is involved to gain US Citizenship?

Every month, the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution participate in Naturalization Ceremonies around the Tri-State area.

We help celebrate with these new US Citizens who have taken the path of legal citizenship.

We who were born and grew up here may take what we have (home of the free, the brave and lucky beyond our wildest dreams) for granted.

These new fledgling immigrants work hard to gain their US Citizenship.

For most of us we don’t really know what is required to obtain and be awarded US Citizenship.

Speaker Series – Highlanders SAR Chapter – Revolutionary War Patriot Memorial

The Highlanders Chapter of the SAR has embarked on a project to dedicate an American Revolution War Memorial in Hillsboro Ohio.

The project is in the design phase as we speak.

Naturalization Ceremony – Friday February 24th – Cincinnati SAR Welcomes New US Citizens

On Friday 2/24/2023, Cincinnati Sons of the American Revolution member Jerry Knight participated in the Naturalization Ceremony in Cincinnati.

The welcome mat was out for these new US Citizens who went through a formal and extensive effort to be admitted as US Citizens.

Naturalization Ceremony – Cincinnati SAR Participates – February 23rd

On Thursday February 23rd, 2023 at 10:00, over 50 individuals representing 28 countries were sworn in as new US citizens.

Jerry Knight represented the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution at this and most all of the areas Naturalization Ceremonies.  Our thanks to Jerry for his dedication and commitment to welcoming new US citizens!

Cincinnati SAR Guards the “Ode to the Sword” at Taylor High School

William Henry Harrison’s 250th Birthday – Concert by Cincinnati Civic Orchestra – Tuesday 2/21/2023

We have a special event coming up Tuesday February 21st, at 7:00PM.

The Harrison/ Symmes Foundation is celebrating William Henry Harrison’s 250th birthday. They are sponsoring a concert featuring the Cincinnati Civic Orchestra on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 7 o’clock in the Taylor High School Auditorium.

The  Cincinnati Civic Orchestra will perform “Ode to the Sword” a melody of songs from the Harrison era and Liz Rosenacker with the DAR would like the Cincinnati SAR in Uniform to stand by the display of William H. Harrison’s Sword in Revolutionary War Uniforms.
